About F295

F295 is an international organization that believes in the value of a heterogeneous photographic approach, in which digital, historic, and self-made methods are purposely employed and combined in the creation of a new form of photographic practice. The F295 symposium and seminar series promote the dialogue and exploration of contemporary photographic practice during a time of unprecedented change. F295 has organized 10 previous events that have featured nearly 100 unique lectures, dozens of hands-on workshops, and 11 exhibitions.

Photography Beyond Technique

This years conference derives it's name from Tom Persinger's recently released book. The book is a collection of 21 essays by 20 photographers that were originally presented at one of the previous F295 events. See more about the book here >>
