I saw on the spitbite camera swap mailing list quite some compliments over the coconut camera. Why not post a detail photo of this camera here

Taco, what is a coconut camera?

My wife already thinks I am nuts....if I started carrying coconuts around she might have me commited to a mental home!

I'm not sure what it is, that's why I'm so curious. It seems to be made of a real coconut.

Here is the coconut camera. I made it for the paper users group in the camera swap. This is the first one I made that got lost in the French mail system. I made two more and on each I added a neck strap and asked the participents to have a lens portrait done of them wearing the camera.

That's fantastic. You did a great job - I love the "shutter".

Say, if one person "wears" two of those and a grass skirt, they can pose as a hula dancer while taking a stereo pair...

Shame on you, Chris. Why didn't you put it in group 3
I would have liked to use one of these, specially the one with the tripod mount !

I-M,

that is NOT an image I want to see posted here. If you're going go out in full dress, may I suggest a hard hard too? Those cameras hurt when they fall out of a tree.

Murry, you spell fine -- you just can't type.

There is something just too 'clinical' about that camera, like it's brain was surgically removed and who knows what about that cork.

It just looks 'victimized'...abducted by aliens and subjected to who-knows-what.

Probably works great too.
