Hi folks. Been a long time since I was on here but I have been looking in now and again. Nice to see the good work on show.

I've still been active with pinhole work but not as much as I'd like to. Managed a joint PH exhibition last year in Darlington (NE England) mainly of where I had been living in Mallorca. Back in the UK now (sadly).

Most of my PH stuff is 5x4 but this is a new 10"x8" camera. MFD carcase made by my friend then veneered in Burl Mahogany by me. Satin finish. I shall post a piccie when I get time.

Tech. stuff:

Focal Length = 80mm
PH Dia 0.32
f248

Film: Ilford 100asa. Old stuff off eBay.
Exposure: approx 75 seconds each one.
Developed in home brewed PMK Pyro.
Toned in Home brewed Thiocarbamide toner.

Scanned and slight adjustments in PS3.

The square image is 10x8 but it suited a square crop better.

Enjoy,

Ian

I'm planning a series of pinhole shots of historic buildings in Belfast. This is the first. This was a Church of Ireland church in College Square. Christ Church closed as a church in 1993 after a fire, several nearby terrorist explosions and general neglect. The organ was saved by a year's worth of work and was stored in a dismantled state. There were other smaller fires then a big fire that gutted the building.
The shell was finally fully restored to its current state in 2003.
There's an account of this here…
http://freespace.virgin.net/rita.uahs/ChristChurch.html

In Estes Park recently and stayed at the Stanley. This was our room. Tripod set up as high as it can go, FP4 pushed one stop and developed in PMK Pyro. Exposure time is a hard one - I set it up and we went to dinner, then the sun went down, so we stayed out since I knew it wasn't exposing anymore. Maybe around 2 hours with the sunlight really fading in the last 45 minutes or so? The window was at the foot of the bed, which is why it is so hot there. I have several more interiors which I may eventually post. Thanks for looking!!
