I tried kallitype printing for the first time this weekend. Here are a couple of the resulting prints, toned in selenium.

Lovely images. There is incredible tonal range here with no apparent loss of detail.

guess I'm jonesin to try this process...

did you teach yourself or take a workshop or... ?

Thanks for the enthusiastic comment. I took a week-long workshop in cyanotype and van dyke Brown about 8 years ago. I've been wanting to try kallitypes for quite some time, found some good instructions on the method on-line and these are some of the prints from my first try at it. Lots of fun, some interesting options for toning with gold, palladium or platinum as well.
