i love the second one. just georgous

that second one reminds me of something out of a mid-70's "how to" photography book where they've pumped up the contrast and printed with a texture screen.... anybody want to own up to knowing about them? very pretty portrait though

the first one works much better in some ways; obvously quite "experimental", it has originality and shock value but it's still a great portrait. in fact, four portraits in one and each face is a very appealing representation.

can't quite come at the third one, maybe because the eyes are fragmented

3rd... let me have a few more beers and get back to you.... looks like a horror movie still....

the differences in outcome are caused by speeds ie scanning resolution?

these are fantastic steve, can't wait to see more from the man and his scanner

The second definately has a classic look and feel to it, very retro 60's, 1960's that is.

I can see the surface of this genre is just being scratched.

This is amazing! I've been watching this whole scanner "thang" from afar and wondering where it was all going-- now I know! I love the images you've produced. Now, ple-e-eze! Don't let me start shopping ebay for a cheap scanner. arghghghghgh

Lovely, unique portraits! Even the creepy one ;D
