Since you don't use a shutter on a scanner camera, mounting a zone plate is very easy. I used Kodak Series VI Adapter inserted into a homemade lense board. The zone plate is f64, 135mm. I mounted zone plate on an aluminum disk (ok, i cut it out and am not much of a tin smith) that could be held in by Adapter retaining ring. Since there is little control over exposure, Adapter allows you to add filter to darken exposure.
Pictures show all pieces parts including sophisticated lens caps and how they go together.
