A world-class portrait. She'll love it in about 15 years. ;)
I love it now.

Very fine work!

That's one to share with the family. Very nice. And I hope she got something for her patience ;-)

Thanks everyone! :-) very kind!

I'll try to get her to smile next time! maybe her new kitten will do the trick.

I'm off to see my bottle of Talisker-now where did I put that straw?

Magnificent portrait! Much better atmosphere than with lumps of spheroidal molten sand. The glum expression is just her getting ready for being a teenager...something to look forward to...and another thing as a point of jealousy, how do you manage to get such a rich flow of tones, when most of my 55s are much more stark? That's me away for some new grapes...

That's a great portrait! Wide angle of view but little distortion where it counts. Excellent!

This is a beautiful portrait and I love the tones in this shot. My daughters would empathise with JJ, a lot! (another support group in the making, along with Andrew and my partners)

i dunno

it is a great shot but with that pissed off look on her face, will JJ like it herself in 15 years?

"just hurry up will ya!"
