I noticed the "where are you located' forum, but is there no "introduce yourself' forum?

Danny, you didn't read the "Where are you located" well enough. It states:
"If you see your State/Province already posted please post your information (as a reply) under that exisiting header." and there we have already Curzon and mrtnski

If I see the distances in the U.S.A. I think, we should even enlarge ours to "Benelux"
