Hello! I'm a bit of a newbie to pinhole cameras, and I've just found this forum, but I thought people here may be interested in a little 35mm, 24x24mm frame square format pinhole camera I made recently.

Some instructions here on how to build one, with some sample pix from my first test roll here:

Welcome to f/295, Al!

I like your camera, and for 24x24 the images are surprisingly sharp. Great stuffed pig shot on your website.

welcome! the matchbox camera is very cool- it may be just the thing for a classroom experience in pinholography.

Welcome! Hope you'll find some inspiration from the others - and vice versa. I'm with moot; the image looks very good considering the small negative size.

Thanks for the welcome!

Yes, I must say I was pleased with the sharpness - I guess this must be due to good pinhole quality. I didn't take much care making it (I used the metal slide cover off an old floppy disk as the material) - so I must just have got lucky! I've strapped another roll of flim onto it, and this time I'll dev properly in C41 rather than B&W chemicals!

There's a couple more shots on my flickr photstream: http://www.flickr.com/photos/alspix/

I'll post the colour ones once they're developed
