i'd like to ask that members engage in a modicum of self-regulation when it comes to uploading images to the gallery. I love seeing the new work that appears here daily, but please try and offer images that meet at least one point in the following checklist:

a) images for discussion or that further an existing discussion
b) images you enjoyed making/viewing/etc
c) work that reflects a topic/technique you've been working on....

and always tell us something about the image. film, fstop, expsure time, camera type, etc... all the information tidbits help us understand a bit more about the work you're doing.

it's not my intent to limit uploads, but we have a number of posts accumulating and server space is limited. If we all review our images using the above criteria i think we'll still have a nice gallery to work with and be able to conserve space on the server.

i guess in short, i ask that we all try and upload our most interesting images, which means that we all have to make more images! so get out there and shoot some film!

thanks!

Tom - I like the idea of deleting upload pictures after 3 months...
If you have any resourses - you may make as I did on my site - I made gallery, where I put the best people photos....
Good luck
PS. What about map?

How does a max upload of 7 a week sound?
Editing down to only the best works?
