I thought maybe we should vote to see if most of the f295 population feels as though we should increase the size of the fonts on the board. I'm open to discussion on this point.....

I don't have a problem with the size of the fonts in the posts, they are ok. The fonts in the quick reply box are a bit small, but I'm not sure if the proposed fix will change that or not.

Clarification please?

With my aging eyes, sometimes I need to enlarge the font display size in my browser. On the Mac, using Firefox, it's clover + to enlarge, clover - to diminish. What's that key called, anyway, "command"?
This enlarges all text, including the teeny letters I type in the reply box.

I think it is OK like it is.
There is the obvious down side that a bigger font means more lines / less on the screen etc.
If you are thinking of getting a new mouse, get one with side buttons; the right one gives you a magnifying glass…….fantastic!

I would support increasing the "post reply" text box only. I think the size in the posts is just fine but I almost always have to increase the size in my browser as I type a post.

Yes gneissgirl, it is the "command" key, also known as the apple key. It's nice to not have to use it because then after you post, everything is HUGE. I have the same experience. We need a name for that :-)

My pinhole eye renders each character as a tiny little blob, so, yes please.

It actually doesn't matter that much because firefox lets you change font size on the fly (ctrl-shift plus and ctrl minus), but the default is pretty tiny, especially when entering messages.. .at least on my work machine.

"especially when entering messages." I would vote YES on that issue but only on that, everything seems good to my old eyes.

i don't have issues figuring the fonts out, but then again, I'm a font freak and an assiduous onlinereader (my Palm E2 is pretty much an ebook reader nowadays). but, if they get a bit bigger, it's not gonna be a bad thing, since lots of people are asking for it.
