This is the name of my photographic company, but it is a fitting name for a place to put down my thoughts on all things photographic.

  1. Newest Darkroom Fixture

    Today the counter top people brought me a slab of engineered quartz (a familiar brand name). It is 37" x 68" x 3 cm thick. It was a remnant in the stone yard, and I took delivery without any fabrication, so it has just the top polished surface, with four sawn edges. It is placed on a base constructed from 2x4's, which was carefully leveled before placement of the slab, and shimmed after placement.   2. Creating a 21st century photographic studio

    2013 is a year of transition for me. I have spent very little time on photography, due to a full slate of higher priorities. My recent marriage (October 19) and the completion of the living space portion of our remodeling project allows me to turn my attention to creating my dream photography studio.
