They look great to me - and I can see the red in the building (though I don't have much confidence in my monitor either)
It was hand held - a very slow pan over about 5 sec, during which time the runner (well the walker really) turned and looked at me to see what I was doing!
Typically it was heavy rain when when the relay came to Durham. But I was quite pleased with the way it came out - about 5 sec with Portra 800 f250

thanks, it was with an R72 filter. This needed much more exposure than the 5 stops compensation suggested in most places. This was taken at a little over 10 stops more than the meter suggested...
