I'm please to say my gum bichromate print "chicken" has been selected for the Royal Ulster Academy's annual exhibition. . which is a big deal here in Ireland. The original is a pinhole photo shot on...
In case any of you are in Dublin 10th -15th September, please drop into Gallery 27 (just off St Stephen's Green). My first one-man exhibition is taking place where I am exhibiting 7 new oil paintings...
Nice results. Personally, I like the vignetting.
Cool shutter. Very nice design.
I posted a badly snapped version on the camera build section. I finally got it properly scanned. I'm pretty pleased with the first attempt.
Looks like I've more or less fixed the light leak in the camera. However, my ad hoc 'darkroom' is still a bit leaky.
This is a selfie. Paper was pre flashed in the camera for 30 sec with a piece...
First test shots tell me I still have a ways to go. Big light leak is obvious - this is where the slide goes in. I'm sure I can fix it. Anyway I just thought, for the record, I'd share my first two...

I reckon the prism will mount over the pinhole as shown in this early patent I came across...
That first image is sublime. It has a real air of integrity.
That's a beauty!

I thought I'd upload a few street shots from my pinhole taken on Catalonia National Day.199719981999200020012002

A gum print from a pinhole photo.
I was going to build a 10x8 pinhole to try out the Harman Direct Positive paper, but before I could get round to it, Harman stopped making it
Today I came across a new direct positive paper...
It's actually taken through the viewing glass of the penguin pool at Belfast Zoo. I woke up one morning and suddenly realised what an image it would make. Drove to the Zoo and took this. It's...
Having tried (and failed) at oil prints, I decided to try gum bichromate. This is my first reasonably successful print on Saunders watercolour paper.1855
Taken with my Chimera67 pinhole camera and Fuji Velvia 50.

Got this pic on worldwide pinhole day. Haven't been pinholing for a while, having got caught up in painting. Must say it's nice to be out again.
Thanks for kind comments guys. Jim. I used to use a Weston Master and a set of reciprocity tables for each film/pinhole combo. Now, I use my iPad Mini and the excellent "Pinhole Assist" app. The app...
They're both lovely. I like the abstract quality of the second and the optical illusion of 3D in the first.
