Nice one Joe. I haven't been around for a while, sure do miss this site but I still remember how to log in!
I like that "mini" format. I haven't tried the paper but this peeks my curiosity. Now to see if I have any black canisters......
Thanks Barry, it's 4X5. If you look back in the announcements there is an explanation for the slow down.
My 2016 WPPD.
I post this here, knowing the traffic is very low, only because this year marks my 10th as a member of F295 and as an avid pinholer.
So much learned here will never be forgotten....
Interesting. Obviously the shift works well as do the filters. I think you have a great combination there.
Although not as active as I once was I still keep my finger on the pulse of f295. I have met more great folks through this venue and have made some life long friends. I will miss the group if that is...
Sometimes I even sound like I know what I'm doing during the Q and A period!
Now that I know I have no expectations life seems a lot less fulfilling.....
Regardless, as an image it is rather nice (pretty much a white bread and mayo observation, huh). I do know about not...
So true. The smooth gradation of tones is wonderful. Between the movement of the light and leaves in the trees you have an all natural dodge and burn program.....
Knocked that one out 'o the park Earl, windy trees and all.
Dittos the above. This scene was made for the wide angle pinhole perspective. Your camera took a nice photo!!! Okay, I'll bet you helped some too ;>).
This needs printed. The depth of the image is palpable, three dimensional even, and the "feel" of a real print will enhance the effect even more.
Me too; take that as you may.....
Agreed. The twin cities are a wonderfully photogenic area; just wish I lived closer. The lines and shapes are to get lost in Earl!
Nice textures and contrast of line and form in the rope image. A lot to take in there.
Fences, a good choice at any time! Nice swirly sky and beautiful tonality. I like the contrast between including the whole corner and cropping out the bottom in the second photo. There is something...
Everything seems about right; fstop, sharpness, etc. Nifty little camera. The wide angle and just a touch of softness make it the perfect amount of pinholey for my taste. I like the design of the...
Thanks everyone. No ship wrecks around here. The navigation lanes and shallow edges are to narrow to leave much wreckage unsalvaged. There may be boats hidden in the silt and water though. The...

View south from a boat ramp. You can see the waters edge and how the moving water during the long exposure lets you see through the water and captures the ridges not visible to the naked eye....
Excellent work Tim. Framing, lighting and especially tone are right on. I've been absent a lot also, no good reason, just absent. With the heat index pushing 108 it may be time to scan a couple of...
That is the beauty and attraction of pinhole; the way it alters time to show what isn't there and hide what is. Yes, great perspective and I like that you leveled the camera to make all the lines...
That's pretty wonky Earl, I like it. That straight stretch of boulevard up the middle really anchors the bent parts, which almost sets off a bit of vertigo.
Definate potential. Lets see where you go with it Earl.
Thanks Joe, Tom. I like to take these photos and may try to do more. I've been following a few photographers that step outside of the normal conventions as relates to composition and find it...
Right click worked, I'll have to remember that. Yes, digital takes some practice and I have never been happy with my results. That being said, these look pretty nice to me.
