    if you carry a level with you you will find that distortion pretty much just disapears.

    i have one that is at least as long as my 6x18 and it seems to eliminate 99% of the distortion

    thanks for the comments. all my chemicals are new and i only one shot chemicals so i guess it could be a wash issue and im just not seeing the issue on this emulsion. ill process some other emulsions...

    these look good sounds like your camera has a friction problem. try lining you film path with something to reduce friction (metal, plastic, etc) before you go and change your winding mechanism.
