    Converted Plastic Camera, Garden.

Camera was f250, if I recall correctly (I should take better notes). Exposure; guessed, I usually take three: one second, two seconds and four seconds. Heavy post-processing in Lightroom3.

    Converted Plastic Camera, Garden.

I got a free plastic camera about 15 years ago with a create of Grolsch beer - it had been lying gathering dust. I ripped it apart in the summer, and made a 24x36 pinhole camera out of it. This first...

    panoramic pinhole

    Nice!

What kind of "red window" for the framecounter are you using? Can it be anything as long as it is red, or does it have to be some special material?

Question about focal length and wide angle

    Isn't 30mm too small?

If you draw a circle with radius 30mm on a 60x60mm square, you "miss" the four corners. The diameter of the circle covering the whole square would be square root of (60^2 +...

    Exposure mapping

    Yes, indeed.

By the way, I tried to do the anamorphic blur circles as well: http://www.durian.se/pinhole/anamorphblur.html

    Does it look right ?:-)

    Exposure mapping

    Et voilĂ*: http://www.durian.se/pinhole/anamorphevdrop.html

    I'm not sure I implemented it correctly though, it's at least a totally different graph. :) I plotted f(x) = 2/pi * (acos(ef/xd)... &c...

Thanks for the birthday wishes, 44 years old...good that life starts at 40 anyway :)

I implemented the "blur" formulas as well: http://durian.se/pinhole/blur.html

    Exposure mapping

    Thanks!

I'll test Opera later today - the graph drawing library I us should work with it as far as I know.

As for the results - I don't know. With 19 mm on 6x6 one would expect quite some...

    Exposure mapping

    Thanks!

Ok, 2/PI it is. (The javascript uses arguments in radians for the trig. functions, is that relevant here too?)

I have been working on the blurring, but I'm not totally satisfied yet :-)...

    Polka,

    That's very interesting!

I was wondering, what is the 0.637 value?

I tried to make a small javascript thingy to plot it: http://www.durian.se/pinhole/evdrop.html (You can drag the...

In which I challenge you to a race

Not driving myself, but a digital pinhole from the train to work this morning (Nikon D70s with 0.2 mm EMS pinhole taped to a bodycap). It was raining. 15 seconds exposure.

    scanning pinholes?

Just for fun and illustration, a scan of my first pinhole. Size 19/48th mm, slightly less than 0.4 mm. I cut out the scanned ruler and aligned it with the pinhole.

Here is a photo of my first roll 6x6 color film.

The camera is a converted 6x6 twin-lens where the lenses had been removed by the previous owner. I made a pinhole in a metal sheet from a tincan,...

    scanning pinholes?

I scan the pinhole together with a ruler. Then I load the scan in the Gimp. With a line I can see how many pixels is one millimeter on the ruler. I then measure the pinhole the same way, converting...

    Pinhole source

I looked for a European supplier, but I couldn't find anything.
Has there ever been a coordinated f295 effort to get a shipment to Europe so delivery costs can be shared?
