    Skeleton Coast

This is an area of the UK's East Coast that is in constant battle with erosion. As the North Sea reaches ever closer once mighty deciduous trees succumb to the salt spray, die and become just bare bones. Here are a couple of images captured with my Zero 2000 and Pan F.

In this first image you can just sea in the distance the second tree.

    Paul,

Looking at these images one could imagine that the location is on the coast of Namibia or somewhere like that.

    Fantastic location and great images.

    Wow, powerful images
They certainly don't look like the average English coast

The second is stunning and the first not bad at all!

very nice! quite surreal looking -- almost post-apocalyptic (though that might be my own personal proclivities rearing their heads)

Nice pictures taken in a really interesting area. Sometimes less is better.

Thanks for your comments. It has been remarked on before as to how un-English it looks
