    This area is being redeveloped & the tower obviously has some historical significance - hence it has escaped the bulldozers.
    The negative was originally colour but lacked drama. I tried the infrared setting in the channel mixer & yep, a bit of drama

    MDF/mountboard camera.
    50mm FL.
    0.010" pinhole in aluminium foil.
    Fuji Velvia RVP100.

    Nice one - I like the balance between the solid tower and the ethereal flare.

    You certainly captured the drama! The contrast between shadow and highlights adds to the mystery. I am drawn to the tower and the pathway beckons..............

    Nice work Earl, the low angle allows the tower to loom overhead.

    Great flare. To make it even more mystique I would darken the corners with the burn tool and probably darken the whole picture a little bit.

    * Remark after looking at other pictures - I'm using currently a rented Japanese notebook as the hard disk of my notebook had a crash last Sunday, so it could be that the picture looks too light for me on the uncalibrated screen. *
