I woke up very early and went out with the cats and had a cup of coffee on the porch in the dark. Didn't want to waste any time getting started on WPPD pics, so pointed the camera at this crackled gazing ball.

Despite the early hour, it's been Pinhole Day to the east for quite a while when I got up and Taco has probably gone out taking photographs, so there's always quite a list to be reviewed.

For the second year in a row, it was cold and rainy, and this year particularly windy, so I thought trying to catch the gloomy day was a good idea, but I'm not sure I actually caught that.

Got a rare self-portrait in which I don't look crabby.

And finally, Sarah on the iPhone and I on the laptop. Mostly because of the composition, which reminds me of Degas, but also for it's romantic character, my ultimate submission.

The first three with the Populist, and the second three with a camera I built about a year before the Populist, which uses almost exactly the same design, except it has a 24 x 50 mm frame and is made out of acid free museum quality mat board instead of cheap cardboard. Both have a .15mm pinhole 24mm from the film. Attached files

Another great narrative Nick. You make even the gray and gloomy feel attractive.

Nick, your 35 mm cameras are perfect for the style of photography at which you excel. These are well exposed and framed, intimate documents of your day.
