    that's a beauty earl! picnic point is a great place. i recall just after i moved to madison walking out there and seeing/hearing a loon... fantastic.

    God - this is stunning. I love the ducks captured in motion. What a great image - compositionally, mood and everything. One I would love to see hanging on my wall.

    What could I add.....
    This is an outstanding photograph, the exposure is perfect and the composition is beyond fault. Would the picture be as good without the centrally placed birds? Probably not, you got lucky.
    But lady luck only smiles upon those with skill & perseverance.
    Superb.
