REICHENAU MILL -CAFFENOL DEVELOPER
I spent this morning at one of my favourits haunts - Reichenau mission. As my aim was to test Caffenol and Fuji Acros, I looked for textures, contrast and low-light subject matter. I am pleased with the developer/film combination, particularly the way in which it handled difficult lighting situations.
6x6 Pinhole camera with 38mm f/l
Acros developed in Caffenol.
Scanned and toned in Lightroom. Warmish highlights and coolish shadows.

Lawrie. Attached files

Nice set of images.
What formula do you use for the Caffenol?

The second one is lovely, but I keep going back to the first. I think that it works really well. It exhibits pinholiness.

I have been concentrating on the Caffenol-C-M formula. At first appearance the noticeable fog level concerned me but the final scans show no ill effects. I will be adding a little potassium bromide to reduce fog.
