Analog Open Studio at Peters Valley Craft Center

This open studio will provide space & darkroom access to students having a project in mind or to finish up in any of the analog photography modes from Processing/printing film to making Gum Bichromates, Platinum Prints, etc. Peters Valley will provide enlargers, UV light boxes, some contact printing frames, sinks, water, etc. You will be responsible for providing all needed chemistry and other specialized equipment. This will not be an instructional class but a working environment conducive to the production of Art. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Andy at photography@petersvalley.org

Andy Schmitt is a Photographer who has also been the Department head of Photography for Peters Valley Craft Center for 9 years now. He has been involved in Photography for 45+ years. In times of moderate insanity, he has also been a chemist, systems designer and web programmer but luckily has regained and held onto some of his sanity for 10+ years now and stayed with the Camera. Andy works in most forms of traditional, alternative & digital photography, both lensed and otherwise. Andy’s work has been exhibited and collected both in the USA and overseas.
