    It would be interesting to see you set up a shot with the camera shaded, such that the sun moves in view of the camera for the last part of the exposure

    Had it been my photograph Earl, the flare would I'm sure have been a product of good luck & I wrongly assumed that was the case here. I am impressed with your foresight, planning & imagination.
    I have been taking pinhole pictures for years & this is the first time I have come across this idea. You don't see it in conventional photography do you? It's just another aspect of pinhole I find fascinating...
