I'm curious where the hint of colour has come from in the last picture because it makes a lovely picture (I really like the first one too).

Thanks everyone. I have a carbon fiber tripod Ric so it gets cold, just not metal cold. I'm thinking the split tone came in the scan Tony as I only saw it after posting. I didn't see it on my monitor as I was processing it (I use a computer dedicated strictly to photography with NO internet connection) and I didn't desaturate these, getting forgetful in my old age I guess.

68F here in Maryland today (my kind of winter). I like the shadows in the first image, and the leading branch in the third one.
