This is an excellent and mesmerizing photo. I enjoy the triangle of the railing leading us into the depths of a stark structure softened by diffuse light.

Such industrial "landscapes" are great. Both compositions are very well done. From my point of view a little bit more contrast in the darker areas had improved the pictures. But we have to take the weather as it is.

I really like the composition in the second Earl but then I am a sucker for railings, and bridges for that matter.

Really nice, Earl. The composition on the second one is especially impressive, with the railing running into the lower right corner and the peaks of the bridge toward the upper left.

Isn't it remarkable how accurately one can compose a pinhole photograph with only Sharpie lines drawn on the camera top and sides? It still amazes me that it works so well, even though aiming my cameras has become second nature to me after many hundreds of shots.

It does get easier over the course many exposures, but some of the fun is not knowing exactly what's there until you develop the print or negitive.
