    exhibition'Metamorphosis' first pictur

    Hello everone

First four images I will be submitting for an exhibition 'Metamorphosis'

All the images taken on 5x4 inch film using a home made view camera and printed using the Salt method as invented by William Fox Talbot.

There are picture of the camera somewhere on the forum

The theme I'm using is discarded and found around Albany.

001 Large wheel of a wool wagon.

002 Picket fence, this was at the Woollen mills managers cottage

003 Junk at the Quarantine station.

004 End of the line .The Wool store.

Great set. You master the salt print technology very well.

this thread is a great example as to why I prefer images to be uploaded to the F295 server.... please try and refrain from posting links to other image hosts. Thanks!

Tom I'm sorry about that . It looks like my Photbucket account is no-longer active. In the future if I upload any images it will be via the f293 server. Colin

I feel really bad this has accrued, and really don't know why my photbucket account no-longer works.

Hi Colin- Sorry to use you as an example. There are no hard feelings on my end, but I wanted to show people how unfortunate it is when the images disappear... it's great to have this stuff in one place so people can view it again later. thanks for being a part of F295!

Here's another reason, Tom: I often view these pages at work, behind a firewall.
Many (not all) external links fail. Some I can password my wat through to; others are rigidly blocked, and I can't get to at all.
