Trees through a pinhole camera

I'm a bit of sucker when it comes to photographing trees. With their different shapes, colours, textures and sizes I never get tired of looking at them. Truly one of nature's coolest features.

These were all shot within the last 5-6 months but I'm only now getting around to posting them up.

f150 and focal length 45mm
0.3mm pinhole diameter
Fomapan 100 rated at 50iso in Rodinal 1:100 for 30 minutes semi stand

The focus on number 4 really pulls the eye towards the center of the picture down between the row of trees.

It's funny, Earl. I wasn't going to post it because I didn't think it would be anything that people would appreciate given the trees moved so much during exposure. But on flickr too people seem to like it as an image. Just shows that one never can tell what people are going to like?

Completely unintentional...or at least it was not conscious on my behalf. But maybe that's when we photograph best? When it it is our subconscious that's in control? Thanks for your comment, Simon !

Bellewestown is a funny little place. They really love their horse racing heritage there.
