Thread: Capturing Movement

    Capturing Movement

Movement takes on a new dimension when captured with the pinhole camera - waves in particular are one of my favourites! I spent a few hours recently exposing a few frames at Hermanus on the Cape coast. I also lost my reading glasses whilst trying to outrun a wave but it was a small price to pay!

Captured with 6x6 handbuilt pinhole camera of 39mm f/l. Fuji Acros developed in Caffenol.

    Regards, Lawrie.

Great set of pictures, Lawrie !

    Numbers 2 & 3 are phenomenal images.

The feeling of movement is there as well as the feeling of space.

If a single photograph is a phrase, then a body of work is the full story.

great images, #5 almost looks like a saxophone washed up from the sea.
It is by will alone I set my mind in motion.

Really hard to pick a favorite, all are beautifully captured. Too bad about your glasses, but obviously worth the loss...
