    First Sunset

I did get out late on January 1 but only just dev'd the film.
First one is a silly connection of three things
    A tree
The transmitter mast at Crystal Palace
    and
    My bike.

And this is my favourite tree, in Peckham Rye park.

Wonderful silhouettes, very rich and strong. Question please DaCh, is that the tower at Alexandra Palace rather than Chrystal Palace?

If a single photograph is a phrase, then a body of work is the full story.

Sam, I think you will have to allow me know what I photographed
That is the original mast on the Crystal Palace parade next to the site of the palace, there is another about a mile or so further along.
And yes, there is another in North London at Alexandra Palace, I will have to take a trip up there one day just for you.
My Mum lived down the road in Croydon when she was a kid and she remembered watching the Palace burning in 1936.
I still don't understand how a cast iron and glass building can burn down

My apologies DaCh, I should have known as the silhouettes of the Crystal palace and Ally Pally towers are quite different. Getting old I'm afraid. My error.
