Pinolized Braun Paxina with ZOOM FL

    Hi everybody.

This is a Braun Paxina I've found on eBay. My intention was to implement a reversible modification to the camera, and so I did.
First of all I removed the lens, then I filed off the edges inside the exposure chamber facing the film, because on the shorter focal length they would have shade, and I covered the holes with black duct tape.
For last, I sawn off the protruding portion of the shutter lever, which did not allow to shot with the lens retracted.
Now there is mounted a pinhole of 0.30 mm and the focal length is variable between 40mm and 69mm.
As I wanted, you can remove the pinhole and replace the lens, and have again the Paxina Mr. Braun invented!

    And that's the results

Welcome to f295! Nice camera, great images. I love the flare on number 4.

Thanks. I'm very happy about this camera. It's very cheap on eBay, and fast and easy to modify. I made it in few hours and I'm not so skilled in precise hand working like many others here. Plus, the variable focal lenght is an extraordinary extra for me!
