This 4-session course introduces you to the expansive world of digital negatives. Take any digital file, from a scan to a digital camera image, and output it onto transparency film to create a traditional silver gelatin print. The digital portion is lecture-based and covers scanning, post- processing for digital negatives, and printing on transparency film. In the darkroom portion, fundamental exposure and chemical processing techniques are presented. Tuition includes lab pass to computer workstations and B&W group darkroom. PRE-REQ: Basic understanding of Photoshop curves & layers. BRING: Film negatives and/or RAW files, B&W paper of your choice, and a notebook
