I was genuinely hoping for a post on mordencage! Ive seen a bit about it in books and while it looks really interesting ive not heard any real life experience.... what happened?

plus the attempted erasure of post has my curiosity...

anyone tried mordencage? hows it done? how'd it come out?

OK, Here's a Mordancage that was among my favorites until the wind grabbed and scratched it. I still like it though.

    Hi Spiffy,
I want to experiment with the mordencage technique but i have a question about the recipe for the solution: the copper chloride (cupric acid is what i can get, same thing?) the most available form of the stuff i can get hold of is liquid, neither of the recipes :

    http://www.alternativephotography.co...ancage-process
    and
    http://unblinkingeye.com/Articles/Mo...ordancage.html

neither mention whether the 10 - 30g are liquid or powder. what did you use?

    thanks!
    Bella
