Half-Moon Swimming and Water Polo Club, Dublin Bay

Also located along the South Great Wall at Dublin Port is the Half-Moon Swimming Club.
It has long been a favourite spot with generations of strong, sea-swimmers in Dublin.

While it is a beautiful spot on a fine sunny day the wind sure knows how to blow out there too !

All images with DIY 5x4 camera; f150 using 45mm focal length and 0.3mm diameter pinhole

Nice, but the second is a beauty. The 45mm is a great FL, maybe time to build another camera....

these are great as always george! number 2 is also my favorite, there is something about it - the impossibility of wanting to climb down over the edge to see what lies beyond...

i really like the way this camera renders scenery - the perfect sharpness in the center and the slight blurring and fall off to the edges...

#2 is great but I prefer #1 for the added sense of place.

Thanks, Isabella. You are very kind. I have always been attracted to the edge of slipways, pool sides, cliffs and all manner of dangerous viewing points ! Water has a hypnotic effect on me sometimes. I'd better be careful or one day there just won't be any more posts from me.
