    New Bridge Pictures

I finally got a chance to get out and do some pinhole the other weekend. The river was super-low and the fog was up -- a good time for a walk to the bridge.

Here are two images from the morning (I may post a couple more later).

Zero Image 612F; Ilford XP2 Super. Exposures were on the long side, maybe a minute?

This is from downstream. I tried a cooler tone for this one.

And here's one from upstream. I tried a warmer, yellower tone for the finish.

Lovely, serene images. Wonderful atmosphere and compositions. I think I prefer the warm tone one.

I like them both. Something about fog and pinhole goes together!

I like both versions. At first I thought I preferred the warmtone, but after some time looking I decided that the first makes you think some more and requires a bit more study and I like that in a photograph.

Both tonings work well - I feel image 1 to be the strongest as I can wonder around it more easily than 2 which seems to halt me in my tracks.
