    Autumn Color

A roll taken last week at Coopers Rock State Forest, which is about a 20-25 minute drive from my house. Despite living here a goodly number of years now, this is the first time I've taken pictures there. A friend from my Morgantown photography club wanted to meet their at sunrise, which gave the extra push to head there at such an ungodly hour (and a frosty morning to boot).

There was not much in the way of fog, mist, or dramatic clouds, but the fall colors were pretty impressive. I worked my way around a small pond with a couple of pinhole cameras. This roll went through a Zero Image 612F, loaded with Fuji NPH400 film.

Here are the pictures in order. Where the pictures look a little chunkier, they were cropped slightly from the 6x12 format because of unrecoverable shadows on the right-hand side.

Here's one departure from the pond, taken when I spotted some interesting ferns:

Wonderful set of images! I really like the first image of the second set.
