Avon Haunted RR bridge

This bridge is still actively used and is located in Avon Indiana.
The legend says - mother had been walking with her baby on the tracks and both fell to their deaths. The mother’s wailing for her infant could be heard when you drive under the bridge, so in an effort to muffle her screams you are to honk every time you go under the bridge.

Great composition and execution of the image. NPI ;-) The only improvement I could think of would be hiring a model dressed in a flowing white gown and have her walk slowly though your composition stopping occasionally to wail. Jim

Great subject and photo! The subdued lighting fits the haunting story beautifully.
What's with the stairs, anyway? Is there a pedestrian path over the road and river, below the trackbed?

Dave, I'm not sure what is the purpose of those stairs, I think it is some kind of maintenance access fr railroad people, because those hollow parts, you could walk in there. It is locked, and you can't get in there. Isis, rdugan - thanks a lot, those comments mean a lot.
