I'm new to this forum and want to say Hello to all. I've dabbled in photography most of my life since school days, starting with my first camera an Agfa Clack, through 35mm, 4x5 and 8x10. I think most of you know the story. In the last couple of years I've woken up to the qualities of old lenses, alternative processes, and have now rediscovered pinhole as a true photographic form in its on right. Oh, how I've been led astray by in the past by lens specs, resolution, MTF curves and that sort of stuff - valid in some contexts, but not everything. I used to do a few pinholes now and then and have attached the only three negs I can find; where the others got to I can't imagine.

These were made with a homemade pinhole in 0.001" shim brass, but I don't know the size or aperture, on a Tachihara 4x5 and Tmax 400 developed in D7. They are straight scans, only reduced in size for web posting. I intend to do much better, starting with a laser pinhole. I look forward to learning more through this forum and exploring alternative techniques. Thanks everyone for the inspirational work you publish here. Regards,
