    WPPD in Prague Underground

This is the picture I have chosen for WPPD this year. 135 format Pinox camera, ISO 200, some 60 s exposure while waiting for my underground train. Prague, Czech Republic.

The world is not black and white. It often looks good in grayscale, though.

I remember that pattern on the wall from riding the underground in Prague, but I don't remember which station it was at. Very good!

The C-line stations, at least those near the city centre, are proudly paneled with several kinds of marble and paved with granite. It is the very first part of the Prague "Metro", opened 1973. For the newer stations, cheaper materials were used (anodized aluminium panels on lines A and B, ceramic tiles etc.) Thanks for commenting.
