So, here is my first attempt at a room size pinhole image. It is for a project in my grad program at the University of Edinburgh. The room looked out on the Edinburgh Castle... so I thought, hmmm... let's give it a go! I was surprised at how well it turned out! It's a little soft since I had to make the hole pretty big to combat other light sources from other parts of the installation, but I am happy with it! The digital image is an 8 second exposure, slightly edited, but the pinhole projection is all analog, through tinfoil, and no lens used. I like it! Overall size is about 9feet tall (there is a little window ledge that blocks out a lot of the sky) and 20 feet wide. Focal length of about 96", I didn't figure out the f-stop... but the hole is about 3/8" diameter (roughly).
