    Desalination and fishies



    This plant has been the bane of our power network for years. Even so, when new it was one of the (if not the) first plants to produce both fresh water and electricity from the same process. Sea water went in at one end, fresh water and power came out on the other one. It'll be demolished sometime this year as the company moved on to producing water via reverse osmosis and power from a wider variety of sources.
