    Another strange interlude

Taken today. For some reason, I think that that this image is homing in on what I want my pinhole photography to show.
This is a sort of random selection of woods. The focus is almost good. The image almost shows you something you know. Just when you begin to understand what you see, you see something else.

8x10 plywood camera. Efke PL-100 film (I am on my last 20 sheets. I am so sad that the factory closed.)
15 or so minutes (an hour would have been better)

I don't try to put it in words but I think "get" what you mean. There's also something, I don't know, maybe organic or alive....

... and thus the beauty of pinhole, it evokes more than describes; it hints, gestures,
offers a gossamer glimpse of a shared truth. The world is more than we know,
we but glimpse the truth in the current way we are willing to see...

on a hot night or something said long ago.

This needs printed. The depth of the image is palpable, three dimensional even, and the "feel" of a real print will enhance the effect even more.
