    The American Stage

I've been collecting pinholes of the play I'm running right now. I wasn't sure how well they would come out given the nature of theatre being mostly in the dark. Portra 400 with an f/235(ish) seems to be the perfect combination for this particular show though.

This was taken from house open (7:40pm ish) to house close (around 11pm ish).

Nice exposure. I'm a little surprised you didn't get a totally overexposed stage. If I remember from my youth when I was a theatre photographer, stages aren't that much brighter than a normal interior, which I normally expose for three minutes. at ISO 200 at f160. However, reciprocity failure is a powerful force and even really long exposures like this won't block up the film.

    Looking forward to seeing more.

I love the audience in that last one. Nicely done!
