Hi Joe, I did the same last night. It's pretty hit and miss whether the wayback machine has archived or has a recent snapshot of any particular thread.
Although it's certainly better than nothing!

I posted another pinhole picture article to my new blog.

There's an email listserve for alt-photo-process. It's geared more toward "alt process" and less toward pinhole than f295 is, but I was wondering if we should set up a small email list server just for folks here on the f295 forum who want to stay connected in the future. It would be a private "invitation only" listserve, so it would not run into the kind of spam problems that big public listserves get. If there's enough interest, I could look into setting it up.

Sure, I'd be interested.

I'd be interested, too. It's going to be hard to replace 295, but anything's worth a try.
Count me in.
I know what you mean. This would not be a replacement exactly. I'm imagining it could be used a bit like Joe is using this thread:
- announce a new series of photos ( at flickr, or your webpage.. )
- announce a blog entry
- call attention to interesting articles or exhibitions
- ask questions or exchange thoughts related to pinhole or alt processes
- maybe even organize a print exchange
just a way to keep in touch and maybe share what you are doing with others.
I found a place that will host the listserve for just a few $ per month, so if there's enough interest I'll try to set it up.

Great idea Ned,I'm in...
I go AWOL for a short time, then the other day I thought must do some pinholeing and catch up with the guys at f295. I'm really sorry this great place for slow photography is ending . Colin
