test: can I post images again?

I haven't visited f295 for quite some time, after posting images become impossible, and I could not find out why..

    testing, one, two, three...
    london201601.jpglondon201601.jpg

selecting a file to include, only the name is shown, not the actual picture.
I did this by clicking on the "Insert Image" button, and selcting a file....
    What is going wrong?

This site is not being maintained. It appears to be open only for historical purposes. If you host your images somewhere else, you may still be able to display them here. But the built-in image display seems to be broken.

Danny, Jon, Ned - Good to see you posting. Perhaps I should post a few myself. I still periodically visit here, checking the "What's New" button.

Hi all, from a former lurker, now zombie. Very sorry to see the forum closed. Had visited a few times recently to review a few favorite bookmarked threads and didn't realize the shutdown.

So is there somewhere pinhole that everyone has migrated to?

Testing a link to an image hosted on Flickr.

    Interesting image.

I do not know of any pinhole only sites. Here is one that used to be APUG: https://www.photrio.com/forum/forums...hotography.75/

I tried to get some activity on my site, but that died as well: http://www.gophotog.org/forum/

Some people registered, but never posted.

Hi Ross! Hope you are enjoying retirement and Island living! I still sometimes count "1 humuhumu 2 humuhumu... " in your honor when I use my instant film pinhole camera, which I still do. I'm pretty active over at photrio ( the site that APUG became ). A few others from here are over there at photrio too, but not everyone.
    Cheers!

Thank you very much, Jon and Ned! I will check on those links!

Ned, that's a lot of "humuhumu" to count, esp. when using instant films!

Retirement is grand. I had expected more time to do pinholing, but for some reason that hasn't been the case! A mystery!

Flickr is as active as ever. There are a couple "major" pinhole groups. It's mostly a place to post your pics, and not as much discussing as I would like to see.

Thanks again for the links! See you (and your pinhole images) on the flip-side!
