7-10pm: Symposium Reception at The Daguerreian Society. Opening remarks, and viewing of their current show Daguerreotypes Past and Present featuring the work of Mike Robinson, Jerry Spagnoli and images from the Society archives.

Lectures and Round Table Discussions
9am-12pm: Symposium Introduction: Tom Persinger. Lectures and round table discussion with Jo Babcock, Craig Barber and Laura Blacklow.
12-1:00pm: Lunch Break (on your own see Campus Map for numerous cafes around campus)
1:00-1:30pm: “Suitcase Camera” group portrait by Jo Babcock and Tom Persinger. More information TBA.
1:30-5:00pm: Lectures and round table discussion with Alan Greene, Patricia Katchur, Terry King, and Mike Robinson.
The lectures and round-tables are being held in association with The Center for the Arts in Society at Carnegie Mellon University. They will take place in McConomy Auditorium at the University Center as part of The Perspectives on the Arts in Society Series.
